16-bit Digital Signal Controllers

16-bit Digital Signal Controllers

Microchip Technology’s dsPIC33CK digital signal controller (DSC) ICs are designed to integrate control attributes of MCUs with computation capabilities of DSPs in a single core. They incorporate a 16-bit CPU, high-resolution PWM, CAN flexible data (CAN FD), internal oscillator, low-power management modes, high-speed ADC module (up to 24 input channels), and debugger development support. These DSCs have on-chip phase-locked loop (PLL) to boost internal operating frequency on select internal/external oscillator sources. These devices also include CodeGuard security and ICSP write inhibit features.
