Charge-Management ICs for Wearables

Maxim Integrated’s MAX14745 ICs each consist of a linear battery charger with a smart power selector and several power-optimized peripherals. These charge-management devices were designed for low-power wearable applications – such as fitness monitors, as well as rechargeable IoT devices. Five regulated voltages are provided via the two ultra-low quiescent current (200mA) buck regulators and three ultra-low quiescent current (100mA) low-dropout (LDO) linear regulators. Applications that require a true-off or always-on state can be configured through the programmable power controller.
