Micron’s NOR flash memory ICs are designed for reliable code storage — boot, application, OS, and execute-in-place (XIP) code in an embedded system. Available in 128Mb to 2Gb models, these devices can also be used for frequently changing small data storage. Security features include replay protected monotonic counters (RPMC), block/sector locking, OTP protection register, hardware/software protection, modifiable security device state, protection after power-up, and write protection. They have a 200MHz DDR SDRAM, and support 400MBps read throughput and 2MBps program throughput. These memory ICs are available in industry standard, lead-free and HF-free package options, such as TSOP, LBGA, SOIC, TBGA, and DFN, in addition to ultra-small wafer-level chip-scale package (WLCSP) and known good die (KGD) options.
