Adafruit has launched a breakout board built around NXP’s UDA1334A low power audio digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The board uses 3.3V to 5V logic levels and can process different formats by setting two pins to high or low. The DAC processes data immediately and gives a clear analog or stereo line level output.
This breakout board uses I2S (default), 16-bit, 20-bit or 24-bit left justified data for the inputs. It also offers a mute pin and a de-emphasis filter.
